It is expected that some potential members shall have acquired enough knowledge through prior study/training and experience to qualify them to get accreditation via CREDENTIALIZATION route. All those who apply VIA this route will be taken through a rigorous assessment.
In addition to the assessment, the applicants must not have an undisclosed criminal record. One will be expected to get a score of 50% and above of the maximum required score of 310 in order to qualify for accreditation in addition to completing a mandatory FORENSICS INVESTIGATION MASTERCLASS or DIGITAL FORENSICS MASTERCLASS.
Those who score 30% to 49 may also get partial exemptions towards the CFIP accreditation, whereas those scoring between 20% and 29% will qualify for full accreditation lessons without exemptions and those scoring below 20% will not be allowed to take the accreditation lessons but can be allowed to join the institute as Student Members until they qualify to take accreditation lessons. Full Accreditation lessons will be delivered online or via e-mails directly from the IICFIP or at accredited Tuition Centres around the globe.
Those with qualifications and experience not included in the assessment above may write to the institute for assessment provided they have completed the mandatory conversion course like the Forensic Investigation Masterclass. The IICFIP accommodates all with relevant training and experience.
